At Violet Accounting we work directly with business owners to improve financial and management systems to enhance business processes. We also collaborate with other accountancy practices, to share knowledge and resources, providing valuable support with VAT work, software training and project work.

Meet The Team

After providing freelance services as a bookkeeper, finance manager and financial controller for a number of years, Kirsti set up VIOLET ACCOUNTING Limited in 2013.

Violet Accounting was established to provide local businesses with comprehensive accounting solutions to ease the burden of record keeping and time-consuming financial compliance.

about Kirsti and the team

Kirsti loves helping people achieve their goals. After attaining a Mathematics and Economics Joint Honours Degree with a final dissertation in taxation, much of her work has centred around finance and financial analysis. She started her career as an oil trader, making critical trading decisions, using market analysis, risk management and negotiations in a fast paced environment, making informed decisions to maximise profits.

She then retrained in accountancy to work around her family and now has over two decades of accounting experience, including working as a financial controller and finance manager, both in practice and in industry. She has worked as a management accountant and bookkeeper for numerous clients and has been called in to assist with a number of tax enquiries for other practices, where her calm, logical and methodical approach gets
problems solved quickly and without fuss.

She loves helping clients grow their businesses by providing the systems and financial information needed. She has an eye for detail and believes that providing clear financial information is the key to empowering people around their finances, allowing them to make the right decisions at the right time.

Kirsti is focused on providing the best possible service to her clients.

Zia is a key figure on our Board of Advisors and a valuable team member. He is ACCA qualified with over twenty years’ experience in practice.

He is always on hand for advice in his capacity as a consultant and nothing is too much trouble. He is an expert at tax planning and great at finding the most efficient way of saving clients’ money.

Zia is a highly skilled and experienced accountant. He provides exceptional advisory services to help clients manage their business.

In addition to routine personal and corporation tax matters, Zia has gained invaluable experience in dealing with complex HMRC enquiries (COP8, COP9 investigations), worldwide income disclosures, let-property campaigns, capital gains tax, company restructuring, crypto and general tax planning.

Amanda is our administration guru, a specialist in all things admin and tech, without whom we would struggle to function.

She is always happy to help and nothing is too much trouble for her. Everyone needs an Amanda in their business!
